After somewhat unexpected break that we have given to our blog, while redefining our marketing strategy, we are finally back. And as MISSOMMI is considering exploring international markets, we have thought it would be a good idea to start addressing our international public. So here we are. With this article we start our mini-series dedicated to Spanish photographers triumphing in the world.
We have found quite a few things we might have in common with Bèla Adler and Salvador Fresneda. They are two photographers working together as well as we are. They live in Barcelona as well as we are. Their work in fashion is clearly distinguished by sensuous feeling that we have always been pursuing in our images too. With their classical photography style, simple but sensitive light, nearly a portrait touch in each fashion shoot, they are definitely a very attractive leading light: campaigns for Mango, Gap, Fridays project, Ballantines, Codorniu, amongst many others draw their glorious career path, crowned (for us personally) with the exquisite sensuality of Magnum. There should be of course some things where we are different. For example, they have a child together. Our only child is MISSOMMI. But after we have found a sister of our Aelita in their portfolio, we have felt even closer.
